Rules of thumb#

Same code, different base URL and credentials. Take the base URL, partner, api_key, callback URL and the IP allowlist from configuration per environment.
Allow the callback source IPs of the environment you call; production and test callbacks may come from different servers.
Rate limits (Rate limits) and the cancel policy (Round cancel and refunds) are configured per environment; read the values from GET /capabilities of that environment.
Test the failure paths before going live: a wallet timeout, a repeated bet, a refund, a wrong signature, 429. The admin panel's API Logs show every callback attempt.
Documentation, OpenAPI document and the admin panel are described for the production address; on the test environment substitute the base URL.
